The fourth season of The Traitors US launches this week, but how can UK viewers watch it? Find out below.
With the fourth season of the British version currently dominating television ratings in the UK as it airs three nights per week on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, its American counterpart is also returning to the airwaves.
AdvertisementThe opening three episodes of season four of The Traitors US premiere on Peacock for American viewers on Thursday (January 8), with 10 further instalments set to arrive on a weekly basis, culminating on February 26.
The US version is hosted by Scottish actor Alan Cumming and is set in Ardross Castle, the same dramatic Highlands setting as the UK version.
In the show, the designated traitors work together to try to eliminate the remaining contestants, or ‘faithfuls’, by ‘murdering’ them at night, while the faithfuls attempt to ‘banish’ the traitors during roundtable discussions. If any traitors remain at the end of the game, they keep the cash prize.
Both the US and UK versions are based on the original Dutch series De Verraders and are both produced by Studio Lambert, who also oversee Gogglebox and Race Across The World.

How to watch The Traitors US season four in the UK
While The Traitors US airs on Peacock in its home country, previous seasons have been broadcast by the BBC in the UK, also the home of the British version of the show.
This time around, the BBC iPlayer has once again been named as the UK broadcaster for the series, although at the time of writing, there has been no official announcement of a specific release date for the episodes.
Previous seasons of The Traitors US have appeared on BBC iPlayer some weeks after its US broadcast finished, and so it appears likely that UK viewers will be able to watch it from late February or early March.
