From 'Bridgerton' to 'Beef' and 'One Piece' to '3 Body Problem'

Netflix have teased their slate of returning TV shows for 2026 – check out which familiar series will be back on the streamer below.
2025 was a major year for the platform, with the final seasons of Stranger Things and Squid Game as well as the big return of Wednesday, but with the new year now under way, they have released a video that has given a taste of what is to come over the next 12 months.
AdvertisementOne of the biggest returning properties is Bridgerton, which is back with its fourth season, which will focus on the family’s second-eldest sibling Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) and his Cinderella-inspired romance with Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha). The first four episodes will arrive on January 29, with the final four coming on February 26.
Back for a second season is 3 Body Problem, the ambitious sci-fi show from Game Of Thrones creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, as well as Alexander Woo. Based on the acclaimed trilogy Remembrance Of Earth’s Past by Chinese novelist Liu Cixin, the second season is expected to deepen the geopolitical stakes as the Wallfacers plot to counteract the Trisolaran threat. There is no definite date for season two, but it will be out at some point in 2026.
One of Netflix’s most celebrated original shows of recent years is Beef, created by Lee Sung Jin. The first season in 2023 saw Steven Yeun and Ali Wong feud after a road rage incident binds them together, but the second season will see a brand new cast, led by Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny. The new episodes arrive on April 16.
Guy Ritchie’s The Gentlemen will also be back for a second season in 2026, as will British spy thriller series Black Doves, starring Keira Knightley, Ben Whishaw and Sarah Lancashire, although neither has an official release date.
RecommendedThe acclaimed romcom Nobody Wants This, created by Erin Foster and starring Kristen Bell and Adam Brody, is back for a third season, as is political thriller The Night Agent, which hits the streamer on February 19.
Two major live-action adaptations of beloved animated properties are also returning. Avatar: The Last Airbender will be getting a second season in 2026, as will One Piece, with the second season dubbed Into The Grand Line and due on March 10.
Other returning shows to Netflix in 2026 will be French thriller Lupin for a fourth season in the autumn, fantasy epic The Witcher for a fifth season and hit drama The Hunting Wives for a second season.
Behind-the-scenes wrestling docuseries WWE: Unreal is back for a second run on January 20, while Formula 1 doc Drive To Survive returns in February.
